I am a fine arts photographer deeply moved by a movement of the 19th century called pictorialism. This movement had the purpose of elevating what was seen at the moment like a mechanical reproduction of reality to the fine arts realm. The hierarchy of the image creation is settle then in the emotional aesthetics rather than in the actual subject, which establishes a sense of nostalgia or romantic reminiscence.

This process was made possible by manipulation either in the camera or at the darkroom.

I am a traveler and my main work is centered in landscapes, they are personal leaves for solitudinous and self reflection as the adventurer in me discovers new worlds and answers. My work is the construction of those states, using tools as photo-manipulation and installations to create my visions.

I have tried to keep myself open to different opportunities and I have done for those purposes many portraits, weddings, advertisings and enjoyed my hours and minutes of it.

I hope you enjoy the journey, thank you for passing by!
